Below, you can find 2 activities specially designed for beginners! These activities are not a scuba certification course.
Try Dive
A try dive allows people who have never dived before to discover the underwater world. By doing a try dive, you will get a small idea of how much fun Scuba diving is! This fun and recreational activity pleases all participants, who often wish to do it again!
Minimum age: 10 years old
Development of the activity:
Try dives are always done along the Montgrí coast, about 15 minutes away by boat from the harbour (Salinas or Negre del Falaguer). We always ask our clients to meet us at the dive centre to watch a 15-minute-long tutorial video (available in several languages). Then we prepare the diving equipment and go to the boat. On board, the instructors will answer all the questions you may have! They will also help you prepare for your try dive.
Our instructors always go one by one with a try diver in the water for a duration of about 20 minutes. The maximum depth you will go is approximately 6 meters. You will be able to discover numerous marine species, for example: Octopuses, Moray eels and many more!

Discover Scuba Diving
Discover Scuba Diving is an activity specially designed to “try” scuba diving. Although it is not a diving course as such and you do not receive a certification, the DSD lets you discover the underwater world with ease and enthusiasm with the help of a qualified instructor.
Minimum age: 10 years old
Course:
After an explanatory session you practice the basic techniques of diving first in the pool under the guidance of one of our instructors. During this pool session you will learn to breathe underwater, you will get to know the equipment and you will gain confidence to continue your dive in the sea.
Then you dive in the sea along the “Costa del Montgri”. Thanks to the protected and shallow diving areas, you can fully enjoy the fun activity. You will discover the flora and fauna of the coast of Montgri and have the chance to meet octopuses, fish and morays…
